Meditation
Meditation, also referred to an inner reflective contemplation, can greatly contribute to both health and longevity by helping you let go of stress and vitalizing your energy. There are many techniques and many teachers of meditation, representing dozens of cultures and a multitude of traditions. When you discover a technique or teacher that inspires you, that speaks to your inner self, stick with it for a while until you can master it. The more you practice a technique, the deeper you will go and the more you will get out of it. Usually, people will bounce from technique to technique, from teacher to teacher are usually doing so because they cannot get through some of the frustrating stages that cause the uneasiness. “These are the stages that stimulate true growth and spiritual awareness.”

Meditative exercises use something as a focal point for which to direct the energy of spirit, the energy of Light. This may be as organic as your own process of breathing, or it may involve outside objects such as water, chimes, flame, a sound or mantra that you repeat or chant, either outwardly or inwardly. Some meditative exercises have been developed to affect or to work with specific areas of consciousness, but all meditative exercises share the common purpose of lifting you into a higher, more subtle, more refined states of awareness and perception until you break through the illusions into the consciousness of the soul. |

In any of the meditation exercise techniques, it is always best to combine the technique with the positive power of the Light. The Light is a force of pure energy that issues forth from the highest spiritual realms. It is essential to ask for the power of the Light to work with you, for your highest good during your meditations. This is your insurance that your meditations will be for your upliftment and your spiritual unfoldment. All energies that are present during meditative exercises, all though they may appear subtle, are active and very powerful. Used in negativity, they can bring about great confusion in turmoil and potentially, they could be destructive. Used in the Light, will facilitate an incredibly accelerated way to spiritual enlightenment. It is up to you how you use it! But if you have your own best interest at heart, you will begin every meditation with, “Asking the light to surround you, protect you and fill you, ask that the negativity be released, cleared and dispersed in the Light and ask that all that takes place during the meditation be for your highest good.”
